How to Apply

To learn more about your admission requirements and application procedures, choose the type of student you will be.

First-Year Student (Freshman)

If you have completed high school (equivalent to the American Grade 12), you should apply as a first-year student. Learn more.

Note: Some first-year students may be eligible to receive academic credit for work completed in high school (IB, CLEP, AP, etc.).

Scandinavian students: Please review country-specific instructions for application.

Transfer Student

If you have completed high school (equivalent to the American Grade 12) and have completed 12 or more semester hours at one or more colleges or universities, you should apply as a transfer student. Learn more.

International Exchange or Study Abroad Student

If you have been selected by your university to attend North Park, you may apply as an exchange student. Special instructions will be provided to ISEP students. Learn more.

Graduate Student

If you have earned a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, you are eligible to apply for a master’s or doctoral program. Graduate applications are submitted through the respective graduate admission office. (Note: does this mean through particular schools, e.g., Nursing?) Learn more.

Important Notes for All Applicants

Photocopied, faxed, or scanned records are not accepted as official documents for any North Park application.

If you mail original documents to North Park, they will be returned to you if you specifically request so in a cover letter at the time of submission. If you bring original documents into the office, they will be photocopied at North Park and returned to you on the spot. Unless return is specifically requested at the time of submission, all documents become property of North Park University and will not be returned at a later date.
